Physiotherapist Amy Shipperd joined the team at Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre in January 2015.
Amy graduated from La Trobe University completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy).
Amy Shipperd has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy, including tennis physiotherapy, developed from her long term involvement and understanding of tennis, which she has played for 18+ years, including two years on scholarship playing US College Tennis in America. Amy Shipperd regularly works as an onsite physiotherapist at national and international tennis tournaments held at Melbourne Park.
Amy Shipperd also has a focus on the management of Woman’s Health concerns, including pre and post natal issues. Amy conducts numerous Clinical Pilates sessions at the clinic, using this as an effective injury prevention and management approach for a number of her clients.
Amy Shipperd is a member of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia as well as an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
