Waverley Park Physio GymThe team at Waverley Park Physiotherapy Centre (WPPC) recently joined in the first birthday celebration at SNAP Fitness Waverley Gardens.

WPPC Director Andrew Dalwood was on hand providing free physio advice to existing members and to the numerous new members who signed on during the day, highlighting correct stretching exercise tips for members to assist injury prevention.

WPPC also conducted a push-up competition with the winner scoring an amazing 68 push-ups in a minute. While Andrew’s push-up effort left all asking why he does not listen to his own advice, Hayley showed all the correct squat technique while coming an impressive fourth in the minute max squats competition against a male dominated field.

The two local businesses have partnered regularly over the last 12 months to benefit the health and fitness of the local Mulgrave community. SNAP Fitness trainers recommend members to WPPC for injury treatment helping them to quickly return to the gym, while WPPC recommend gym facilities at SNAP Fitness for clients who are placed on specific longer term rehabilitation programs and to those looking to improve their fitness.

WPPC Director Andrew Dalwood said “By collaborating with local health industry partners, like SNAP Fitness, we can value add our service offering to clients, secure in the knowledge that our client can complete specific rehabilitation programs in a secure, ‘state of the art’, cost effective gym environment ensuring best return to, and potential long term retention of their health, fitness and general well-being”
